The Tour's flagship event — the only Major on the Tour calendar. Cool coastal air, firm fairways, and the championship that defines a career.
The Santa Cruz Invitational is the Tour's Major championship. Held along the Central California coast, the course plays firm and fast — with the Pacific breeze quietly dictating club selection on every approach.
The format is a 4-Man Shot Minimum Scramble: teams play the best ball, but every player on the squad must contribute a minimum of 10 shots over the round — putts excluded. Putts from the fringe, however, do count as a stroke. No hiding behind the low handicap in the group.
Winning here carries weight no other Tour finish can match: a Major win is worth more in season points than any Minor, and the Santa Cruz champion opens the following season as defending Major holder.

Every team to lift the Major Cup, in reverse chronological order.
A 2022 event was contested but its format differed materially from the modern Santa Cruz Invitational, and is omitted from the official record. Sorry, Luca.
